Congress Registration Desk
The Congress Registration Desk is located at G/F, HKCEC and will be operated during the following hours:

Speakers Preview Room
To ensure the smooth running of sessions, speakers are requested to report to the Speakers Preview Room at V101 & V102, Level 1, HKCEC to upload and check your presentation(s) at least half day prior to your session(s).
The opening hours of Speakers Preview Room are:

Exhibition
An exhibition featuring the latest products, equipment and educational materials in cardiac diseases will be held on 1 – 3 September 2023 at Level 1, HKCEC.
The opening hours of the exhibition are:

Poster Presentation
Poster presentation is located at Convention Hall A and B, Level 1, HKCEC.

 

Language
English is the official language of the Congress.

 

Badge Identification
Each participant will receive a name badge upon registration. All participants are requested to wear their name badges throughout the Congress and social programmes. Only badge holders will be admitted to the Congress venue, meeting rooms and social programmes.

 

Certificate of Attendance
E-certificate of attendance will be sent to those attended the Congress by email within one week after the Congress.

 

Wi-Fi
Free WIFI is available at the Congress venue. To ensure reasonable performance and fair use by all users, there is a 4-hour usage limit of the free Wi-Fi service upon registration for each user. User account will be automatically logged out after a 4-hour idle period.

 

Adverse Weather Arrangement
Announcement on the arrangement under adverse weather condition, e.g. torrential rain or typhoon, will be made through emails to delegates, the Congress website and the mobile app. For enquiry, please call (852) 2852 2382.

Programme at HKCEC
Typhoon Signal No. 1 or No. 3 or No. 8 or above; Amber, Red or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal
The Programmes of the 16th APHRS Scientific Session and CardioRhythm (the “Congress”) will continue to be held as scheduled in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (“HKCEC”). The exhibition areas will be opened as scheduled. Abstract presentations will proceed as scheduled.

Faculty and Gala Dinner
Typhoon Signal No. 1 or No. 3; Amber or Red Rainstorm Warning Signal
The Dinner will continue to be held as scheduled.

Typhoon Signal No. 8 (or above) or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal
When the Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement, Typhoon Signal No.8 (or above) or the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued at or after 12:00 noon on 2 September 2023, the Dinner will be cancelled. We will make further arrangements about the dinner in due course.

Remarks:
Any cancellation of the activities due to inclement weather or any other causes beyond the control of the organizers, there will not be any refund for the said cancellation. In case of any disputes, decision of the organizers shall be final and conclusive.

 

Liability
The organizers will not be liable for personal accidents, or any loss or damage of private property during the Congress. Participants should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.
